A small yard by the sea in Donabate.
Corballis Farm has been running since 2015. We started with a few horses and a handful of local families wanting somewhere to learn to ride. Ten years on, we're still here — a little bigger, but still family-run, and still doing things the same way.
We've got 18 horses and ponies now, ranging from tiny Shetlands for the little ones up to larger horses for adult riders. Each one is matched to their rider's ability, and we never rush anyone through the learning process.
We're based on Corballis Lane in Donabate, a five-minute drive from Donabate village and right beside the beach. Trains from Dublin city take about 25 minutes, and we're a short walk from the station.
We also offer therapeutic riding sessions for people with autism and additional needs. This has become a big part of what we do, and something we're really proud of.

Meet Henry & Lisa.
Corballis Farm is owned by Henry Smith, who runs the riding school alongside Lisa Dandy. Between them they have decades of experience with horses and a real love of teaching.
Our instructors are all AIRE-certified and most of them have been here for years. Two of us are also qualified in adaptive and therapeutic riding.
You'll see the same familiar faces every time you visit, which really helps — especially for children and for riders with autism who benefit from consistency.
